Play for our LEADERSHIP League at MANILA (Philippines)

Our program seek to use sports as intervention for youth leadership and educational opportunity. It has been running since 2005 when we used the format of street football or futsal to build awareness of the game and develop the leadership and footballing skills of marginalized children ages 6 to 21.

In 2008, the program initiated the first youth street football league in the Philippines, where teams from different communities play home and away against each other in a 5-month competition, the longest running youth league in the country.

The league assimilated a tournament with social consciousness in where additional add-on such as volunteer service projects are encouraged of the participants so that they not only just play but also contribute to the betterment of their community.

This has enabled the youth to manage the games with minimal supervision, to take on responsibilities that greatly enhance their personal improvement and relationship skills. Thus, these help the youth who run the league develop leadership, values and character.

Our main activities are developed during the Weekends.
