Meet & Help Indigenous Kichwa in the Amazon - TENA (Ecuador)

We are a Non-Profit Association that helps poor communities in Tena, Ecuador, respecting their cultures and traditions.

We act mainly in the Amazon on indigenous Kichwa communities and families through microprojects. These microprojects are planned and executed by our team in collaboration with the families.

We also intervene sending clothes, shoes, school supplies, backpacks, etc after collections mainly in France but also providing Food Aid in the most urgent cases.

The Kichwa communities are descendants of the Incas and try to preserve their culture. Unfortunately, they are victims of a colonization that does not respect them and they live on the margins of society.
