The French-Indian NGO was created in 2006 by Elodie (French, from Nantes) and Victor (Indian, from Kolkata) in order to support the disadvantaged Indian populations in economic, financial, social and medical terms for the sake of empowerment, socio-economic independence and improvement of their living conditions.
Education for the children :
> construction and management of a nursery school and a boarding school in Kolakham since 2010 (Darjeeling region)
Job for people and social entrepreneuship for all :
> for women’s empowerment : "free woman in Sanskrit" craft project to support women’s employment in Kolkata since 2009. This project also employs men when necessary and according to nature of the tasks to be performed.
> for development of small enterprises : micro-credit programs at 0% interest in Kolkata, including residents of the Dhapa’ slum from 2006 till 2011.
Shelter and care for the elderly :
> support to the retirement home in Kolkata, sponsoring elderly since 2009, support for fund raising for the roof’s repair of the retirement home.
