Weave the Future of INDIGENOUS People in Oaxaca (México)

We are an association that promotes the preservation and transmission of wisdom and traditional weaving methods of the indigenous communities from Chiapas and Oaxaca in Mexico.

They are an integral part of the Mexican intangible cultural heritage and are part of our roots as humanity, but unfortunately, these cultures are disappearing.

Our mission is to return the pride of indigenous communities and strenghten their own identity and their different ways of life and beliefs by promoting their culture and crafts.

We help to preserve their culture through the writing of articles, the publication of written testimonies, the production of documentary videos and the sale of luxury crafts, amongst others.

We have a program that allows the artisans to sell their crafts at a fair price, in order to allow them to live decently from their art and to give true value to the traditional crafts of the region. The products developed here, show the diversity of the different communities with which we work, diverse artists who mix the ancestral with modernity. You can contact our team to order specific pieces of craft.
