Help us to make a daily difference in the lives of afro and indigenous communities in general and local Colombian women in particular by listening to their needs, connecting them with relevant stakeholders, and fostering a sense of community ownership over sustainable development projects.
Our country is one of the 5 most unequal countries in the world. Over 80% of its area is rural with extremely low access to state services like health, education, security and economic opportunity. This situation especially impacts afro and indigenous peoples, post conflict population, and women.
Our projects aims five different dimensions:
Governance: Competencies for self-government.
Habitat: Relationship between people's life and the environment.
Heritage: Self-recognition and appreciation of one's culture - Entrepreneurship: Economic sustainability (TRAKTI).
Ubuntu: Ability to create a shared vision and work for it.
Together we can bridge the gaps that cause gender inequality and extreme poverty!
